The format’s efficiency score of 0.74× places it below almost every other content type, while statistics roundups, glossary pages, and how‑to guides deliver 4.25×, 1.47× and 1.36× efficiency respectively. The study also shows a 2.4‑fold gap between consulting firms and SaaS companies in backlink returns from thought leadership. The report urges marketers to re‑evaluate their content mix and prioritize formats that earn links.
