The continuation of Sam Porter Bridges’ story will show up on another platform, as Kojima Productions confirmed during the February 2026 State of Play presentation that Death Stranding 2 will get a PC port just like the first game did. It is at the end of its development, and we’ll see it on March 19, 2026.
As a reminder, Death Stranding 2 takes place not too long after the events of the original game. Sam is living peacefully with his daughter Lou, the BB he traveled alongside in the first game. However, Fragile and Deadman approach him about helping get Mexico connected to the Chiral Network. Taking on this new task and bringing another country online leads to a whole new adventure and additional revelations. This version will feature DualSense controller support, as well as frame generation and upscaling.

It isn’t unusual or unexpected for there to be a PC version of Death Stranding 2. This already happened with the original game. It first showed up on the PS4 in November 2019. Then, a PC port arrived in July 2020. That was then followed by Director’s Cut editions, which showed up on the PS5 in 2021 and PC in 2022. It later went multiplatform again and showed up on the Xbox Series X and mobile devices in 2024.
Death Stranding 2 is immediately available for the PS5, and a PC port is in development and will launch on March 19, 2026.
