Bringing the title to PC taps a larger, more diverse gamer base and leverages Epic’s distribution power, while new heroes and events boost player engagement and monetization.
The arrival of Seven Knights Re:BIRTH on the Epic Games Store marks Netmarble’s first foray into the PC marketplace for this title, expanding its reach beyond mobile and console ecosystems. By leveraging Epic’s massive user base, the publisher aims to capture casual and hardcore gamers who prefer a click‑and‑play experience, while also tapping into regions where PC gaming dominates. The cross‑platform availability aligns with industry trends of unifying player communities, and it provides a new revenue stream through direct sales and in‑game microtransactions on a broader distribution channel.
The update introduces two Legendary heroes, most notably the Four Lords champion Lu Bu, whose area‑of‑effect attack kit reinforces physical‑damage team compositions. A dedicated Rate Up Summon event temporarily raises his drop probability, encouraging spending while rewarding dedicated players. Parallelly, the Magic‑type hero Xiao Qiao arrives to bolster the Iron Devourer raid, offering strategic flexibility for guilds. Complementary events such as the Lunar New Year summon and Lu Bu Power‑Up missions provide additional incentives, blending narrative celebration with monetization tactics that keep the player base engaged.
Seven Knights Re:BIRTH builds on a franchise that has already exceeded 100 million downloads, demonstrating Netmarble’s capacity to sustain long‑term live‑service titles. The PC launch not only diversifies platform revenue but also positions the game for future content expansions, such as new regions like Area 24 and deeper PvE challenges. By integrating quality‑of‑life improvements—equipment sell presets and expanded cosmetics—Netmarble addresses player feedback, a critical factor for retention in the competitive RPG market. The combined push of fresh heroes, timed events, and broader distribution suggests a strategic effort to revitalize growth and capture a larger share of the global gaming audience.

Netmarble has rolled out a new in‑game update for Seven Knights Re:BIRTH while also bringing the title to PC via the Epic Games Store, expanding the game’s availability beyond its original platforms.
The update introduces two new Legendary heroes and additional content aimed at broadening gameplay options. The PC release marks the game’s debut on the Epic Games Store, a move the publisher says is intended to reach a wider global audience and strengthen the title’s presence in international markets.
Among the new additions is [Unrivaled] Lu Bu, a Legendary Attack‑type hero and a member of the Four Lords. Designed as an area‑of‑effect damage dealer, Lu Bu is built to complement teams that focus on physical attack strategies. To coincide with his arrival, a limited‑time Lu Bu Rate Up Summon Event is now live, increasing the odds of obtaining the character. A separate Lu Bu Power‑Up Event also offers rewards for completing missions, including a Brilliant Skill Enhancement Stone.
The update also adds [Battle Maiden’s Return] Xiao Qiao, a Legendary Magic‑type hero from Aisha. Xiao Qiao is positioned as a strong option for the Iron Devourer Raid, and players can earn her up to three times through the Second Hero Expedition feature.
Beyond new characters, the patch introduces several quality‑of‑life and cosmetic updates. New costumes are available for Evan, Karin, and Yui, while Area 24 expands the game’s playable regions. A new Equipment Sell Preset system allows players to define stat‑based conditions for selling gear, streamlining inventory management.
To mark the upcoming Lunar New Year, multiple in‑game events are now active, offering various rewards. One of the highlights is the Special Lunar New Year Summon Event, which provides a chance to recruit a member of the Seven Knights of Old.
Seven Knights Re:BIRTH builds on the foundation of the original Seven Knights, Netmarble’s long‑running RPG franchise that has surpassed 100 million cumulative downloads worldwide. The reboot retains the series’ story, characters, and combat systems while updating the experience with modern features and design trends.
