M Battery Materials Acquires Graphite Assets From Lithium Energy for $20M

M Battery Materials Ltd, owned by Matt Latimore and Gerhard Redelinghuys, paid $20 million (including $5 million cash and $15 million in shares) to acquire the Burke, Mt Dromedary and Corella graphite projects from Lithium Energy (ASX:LEL). The assets will become part of MBM's planned $15 million IPO of its battery‑metals business.
