As mobile and AI accelerate app delivery, insecure apps can become the enterprise front door for breaches and data leakage; automated, attacker-focused testing and easier security controls are critical to protect revenue and user data. Ensuring visibility into embedded AI and third-party components is especially important as apps increasingly handle sensitive customer interactions.
Now Secure CEO Alan Snyder told Techstrong TV that mobile is now ubiquitous and the primary interface for customers and employees, driving revenue and growing share of digital interactions each year. He says AI has made app development dramatically easier—he built a mobile app in about 12 hours using new AI tools—but that faster development often leaves security as an afterthought. Now Secure’s approach is to test mobile apps from an attacker’s perspective—reverse engineering, runtime analysis, dependency and data-leakage checks—and to surface embedded AI components and what data they ingest. Snyder emphasized making robust security, privacy and governance low-friction and cost-effective so organizations will actually adopt it.
