Arize hosted a three-hour interactive workshop at the Agentic AI Conference to teach practitioners how to build and deploy smarter agents quickly. Product and community leads walked attendees through core concepts—RAG, tool-calling, model composition and evaluation—and provided hands-on Python labs with breakout support and public GitHub code. The session emphasized Arize’s observability and eval expertise, sharing lessons from customers like Spotify, Uber and Reddit and delivering an end-to-end starter example attendees can deploy in their organizations. The audience included AI engineers, PMs and subject-matter experts, with live Q&A and debugging help throughout.
Original Description
The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with practical skills and hands-on experience in optimizing AI agents and building high-performing, observable systems using Arize AX. During the session, attendees will:
- Learn how to trace, instrument, and evaluate agent workflows using auto-instrumentation, live session tracking, and continuous evaluation techniques.
- Gain hands-on experience with prompt iteration, tool calling, A/B testing, and debugging agents in real time using Arize’s Alyx (AI Agent).
- Explore advanced capabilities for optimizing AI agents, including multi-agent visualization, session-level evaluation, and building a production-ready observability setup with Arize AX.
