BioMADE secures America’s future by advancing bioindustrial manufacturing through research, workforce development, and collaboration. It focuses on creating domestic biomanufacturing infrastructure, including a Pilot Plant Network, and supports members with funding and resources to accelerate technology and innovation in biobased materials, chemicals, and defense-related products. The organization engages with industry, academia, and government to build a resilient U.S. bioindustrial sector with emphasis on education, safety, and security. BioMADE operates primarily in the United States, with presence in Twin Cities, MN and Emeryville, CA, and communicates its mission through projects, education programs, and industry partnerships.
