Biosphere 2 is a multidisciplinary environmental research facility affiliated with the University of Arizona. It operates as a living laboratory featuring biomes such as rainforest, ocean, mangrove, desert, and the Landscape Evolution Observatory to study Earth systems, sustainability, and ecosystem conservation. The center conducts world‑class research, supports educational programs for learners from kindergarten through graduate school, and partners with UA and other organizations for science and innovation.
