About The Climate Club

The Climate Club is an international, high-level forum focused on industry decarbonisation. It serves as an intergovernmental platform for exchange and collective action on decarbonising energy-intensive sectors, with an initial emphasis on steel and cement, and works to align policies and mobilise finance across diverse geographies, including emerging markets and developing economies. The organization coordinates governance through a Secretariat hosted by OECD/IEA and counts 48 member countries and stakeholders among its network. It provides policy publications, risk assessments, and collaborative tools like a Global Matchmaking Platform to accelerate the industry transition toward net-zero pathways.
