DFINITY Foundation is a Swiss-based not-for-profit organization driving research and development for the Internet Computer blockchain. It oversees a large R&D team focused on advancing the protocol, cryptography, and distributed systems, and fosters open collaboration through publications, ICP Lab, and hackathons. The foundation also coordinates security audits, grants, and community engagement to grow the ecosystem around the Internet Computer. It operates internationally, with emphasis on research and development in Switzerland.
