ITA Airways is the new national airline of Italy, established on October 15, 2021, and fully owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The airline operates a fleet of 52 aircraft, including narrow and wide-bodied options, and aims to expand to 105 new-generation Airbus aircraft by 2025, significantly reducing its carbon footprint. As a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, ITA Airways also offers a loyalty program, Volare, which allows customers to earn and redeem points through various commercial partners.
