About Northeast Microelectronics Coalition

The Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) is a regional technology hub under the Microelectronics Commons program, focused on expanding U.S. leadership in microelectronics. It coordinates initiatives across industrial sectors, academic partners, and government programs to enable, accelerate, and sustain microelectronics innovation in New England and the Northeast. The coalition supports workforce development, grants, and collaborative efforts through programs like SHIELD, POWER, and PROPEL, and maintains active engagement with member organizations and regional ecosystems across Massachusetts. Its main offices are in Westborough and Boston, Massachusetts.
