Northern Lithium is a privately owned UK mineral exploration and development company focused on delivering a domestic supply of lithium for the UK. Based in the North East of England, the company is developing lithium-rich brine resources within the Northern Pennine Orefield, including areas of Weardale and County Durham, using innovative and sustainable exploration and direct extraction methods to unlock battery-grade lithium. The project aims to produce through multiple production sites to support UK battery manufacturing and energy storage needs.
