About Queros

Qeros is the indigenous Quechua community in the Cusco region, known as the last Inca ayllu. The organization focuses on preserving Quechua culture and natural heritage while offering tours and cultural experiences in the Vilcanota area, including the Sacred Vilcanota Spiritual Park. Visitors can learn about traditional medicine, cosmology, and sustainable conservation practices that protect biodiversity and cultural integrity in Canchis, Quispicanchi, and Paucartambo provinces of Cusco. The effort is led by local communities with support from regional partners to promote respectful tourism and cultural preservation in southern Peru.
