Romgaz is the largest producer and principal supplier of natural gas in Romania. The company conducts geological exploration to discover new gas reserves, produces methane from its portfolio of gas fields, and stores natural gas underground. It also performs interventions and capital repairs at wells, executes special operations at wells, and provides professional transportation services through its Technological Transportation and Maintenance subsidiary. Romgaz emphasizes sustainable operations across exploration, production, storage, and energy production activities within Romania and associated projects such as Neptun Deep in the Black Sea.
