About Saugeen Ojibway Nation Environment Office

The Saugeen Ojibway Nation Environment Office is the Indigenous-led entity focusing on environmental stewardship and governance across SON Territory. It coordinates initiatives related to coastal waters monitoring, infrastructure and resources planning, and advocacy for the rights and interests of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation in environmental matters. The office operates within the Saugeen Peninsula region and works under the Joint Chiefs and Councils to assert jurisdiction and support community-driven environmental programs.
