About Technology Development Board

Technology Development Board (TDB) is a government funding agency under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It provides financial assistance to Indian industrial concerns and other agencies for the development and commercial application of indigenous technology or for adapting imported technology to wider domestic use. Through programs and calls for proposals, it supports sectors such as engineering, electronics, health, agriculture, energy, and space, aiming to accelerate technology commercialization and industrial innovation across India. TDB operates under the Ministry of Science and Technology and collaborates with national and international partners to advance technology-led growth in India.
