The Mercantile Library is Cincinnati’s historic membership library, offering a space for readers, writers, and thinkers since 1835. Located in downtown Cincinnati, it hosts author talks, book clubs, poetry and performing arts events, and programs ranging from yoga to lectures in a welcoming cultural venue. The library boasts a large collection spanning 187 years with print, e-books, and audiobooks, and invites the public to visit, join, and engage with Cincinnati’s literary community.
