About Wallenbergstiftelserna

Wallenbergstiftelserna is a collective of charitable foundations established by members of the Wallenberg family to fund excellence in research and education with nationwide relevance in Sweden. The foundations finance top researchers and research projects, as well as educational initiatives, across fields such as life sciences, mathematics, and other strategic areas. Since 1917 they have awarded over 47 billion SEK, including about 12 billion SEK in the last five years, supporting national scientific capacity and development.
