JWST Zooms In, Roman Maps the Cosmos Together
This is a fantastic question. The difference is their fields of view. The JWST is like a zoom lens that captures intricate details of objects, often only parts of an object because its field of view is small. Roman zooms out and sees larger areas of the sky at once, so it's good for mapping the universe and seeing how it works as a whole. It can also find objects of interest for JWST to zoom in on to reveal intricate details only it can see. Very different purposes, but complement each other.

Artemis Costs Under 0.5% of US Budget
Alright, the Artemis II launch is less than a day away. So I want to address some recurring criticisms I've seen: it's too expensive, we need to solve problems down here, it's too dangerous, it does nothing for the greater...

JWST Confirms 2032 Asteroid Won’t Hit Earth or Moon
Remember the asteroid we thought might hit Earth or the Moon in 2032? New data from the JWST shows it will hit NEITHER. JWST's IR eyes are great for this because the asteroid is tiny and far, and thus, really dim....
