AI Masters Math, Stumbles on Invoices: Process Mapping Reveals Why
Five years ago today, UiPath went public. We had spent over a decade building a platform that could understand how enterprise processes actually work. How systems connect. Where handoffs break. What happens when exceptions hit at scale. Going public did not change what we were building. It changed the scale at which we could see how processes behave when they are under pressure. That foundation is what made the last two years so clarifying. When AI arrived in the enterprise, we did not have to guess where the complexity would be. We had already mapped it. And what surprised me was not where AI struggled. It was how differently it succeeds compared to what most people assume.
