Leap Day: Exercising Imagination for World‑Changing Innovation
Imagination is like a muscle. We’re all born with it, but it begins to waste away if we don’t use it. And at Flagship, our team’s imagination is the most valuable resource we have. It’s how we go beyond incremental scientific progress to big, world-changing leaps. That's why we set aside a “Leap Day” every year: to encourage colleagues to step back from their everyday work, test out new ideas and perspectives, and intentionally stretch out their imaginations. Thanks to all the colleagues who participated in or led Leap Day sessions at our offices today. I am looking forward to watching your boldest, craziest, most imaginative ideas grow into bigger leaps for people and planet.
