Many Resist Early Retirement Despite Craving Freedom
Today I was talking to a friend turning 50 who works long grueling hours, but may be getting a new job that pays much more. So I talked to them about retiring early which I help thousands do who are tired of the rat race & grind. They weren’t interested at all. Now granted - I still work myself, but I am a workaholic, but I was explaining to them that i’m talking to a sibling who works in finance about retiring early. Out of curiosity, do you enjoy the long work hours or would you rather retire and have a little land or live somewhere tropical and work less or have passive income? Just curious. Not selling anything. I’m just really genuinely looking for opinions. We’ve just always helped people get off the grid and retire early and did it for free which was probably crazy. Instead of charging :) i’ve done it for 18 years on this account. We do it on our website. But I’m curious because some people say it’s not good to retire and going to work every day five days a week is what keeps you young. Others disagree. What are your thoughts?
