Deaf Independent Living Association (DILA) is a Maryland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping deaf and hard of hearing individuals achieve independence through residential supports, employment assistance, interpreter referral services, and community resources across the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The organization provides information and referral services, advocacy, and access to sign language interpretation to bridge communication gaps between deaf and hearing communities. DILA focuses on independence, diversity, and empowerment by offering programs in residential support, supported and competitive employment, and interpreter services for individuals and organizations. Located in Salisbury, Maryland, DILA serves the local deaf and hard-of-hearing population and their families and allies.
