Iberdrola Sells 757MW French Onshore Renewables Portfolio to Technique Solaire

Iberdrola has completed the sale of its French on‑shore renewable portfolio to Technique Solaire, transferring 118 MW of operating wind farms and a 639 MW pipeline of wind and solar projects. The deal gives Technique Solaire full ownership of Iberdrola Renouvelables France, marking its first foray into French on‑shore wind. Iberdrola cites the transaction as part of a broader strategy to concentrate on regulated networks and long‑term contracted generation in core markets such as the US and the UK. Twenty‑one Iberdrola staff will join Technique Solaire to support operations.
