
The Company Behind ClassPass and Mindbody Just Got a Lot Bigger with a $7.5B Merger
Playlist, the owner of ClassPass, Mindbody and Booker, completed a merger with smart‑gym equipment maker EGYM, creating a fitness and wellness conglomerate valued at $7.5 billion. The combined entity now spans B2B software, consumer class‑booking, AI‑driven workout plans and corporate wellness, serving millions of users in more than 30 countries. Its portfolio includes over 40,000 Mindbody businesses, 88,000 ClassPass venues, 20,000 employer partners via Wellpass and 33,000 gyms equipped with EGYM hardware. The deal brings $785 million of new capital to accelerate AI features and expand EGYM’s presence in North America and Asia.
