But instead of heading to the busy tourist hotspots, I made my way to Sidemen, one of the most beautiful and authentic valleys on the island. Nestled beneath Mount Agung, surrounded by rice terraces, rivers, waterfalls, and traditional villages, this is the Bali that many travelers never get to see.
In this video, I spend 3 days exploring the quieter side of Bali while staying at the incredible Sungai Residence at SAMANVAYA. From misty mornings overlooking Mount Agung and relaxing spa experiences to hidden waterfalls, local culture, and some of my favorite things to do in Sidemen, this trip reminded me exactly why Bali will always feel like home.
