Plastomics, an agricultural biotechnology company based in St. Louis, announced an initial $5.8M close of its Series B to accelerate development of transgenic chloroplast traits. Backers include Fulcrum Global Capital, Lewis & Clark Partners, Skull Diamond and Heart Capital, Missouri Technology Corporation, and BioGenerator Ventures.
