Alex from ROG introduced Pop CLI (Popsy Live), an all-in-one developer tool that streamlines Polkadot parachain and smart-contract workflows by wrapping the Polkadot SDK and integrating ecosystem tools (subxt, testnets, Ink templates and wallets). The tool offers one-command environment setup (pop install), scaffolding (pop new), local spin-up/testing (pop up), and on-chain interaction (pop call), plus integration with the Polkadot Deployment Portal for deployment and node management. Built by ex-Parity engineers, Pop CLI bundles curated templates (Parity, OpenZeppelin, Ink Alliance) and abstractions to reduce configuration friction and local testing complexity. The presenter demonstrated how the tool accelerates moving ideas from prototype to testnet and production.

Acurist is pitching a decentralized computing network that leverages trusted-execution-environment–equipped smartphones as edge nodes, currently claiming over 130,000 onboarded devices and roughly 450 million transactions. The platform provides confidential compute and bandwidth in a single stack (with storage coming soon)...

Parity engineer Santi Balagua introduced the Polkadot Deployment Portal (PDP) as a one‑click platform to build, deploy and scale Polkadot‑native rollups in minutes. PDP packages tested infrastructure, embedded runtime and smart‑contract templates (including OpenZeppelin), and automates the full core management...

Karim Jetta of Parity argued that web3’s breakthrough won’t come from re-skinning web2 apps with wallets and tokens but from products that leverage blockchain’s unique, decentralised properties — things that are impossible under centralized corporate control. He likened the moment...

Polkadot governance update: the treasury regained 80,000 DOT this week (now 25.54M DOT) with USDT at $5.45M and USDC down to $3.08M, leaving strong stablecoin reserves. Key referenda: a 1M DOT top-up for DeFi infrastructure passed with 74.4% support, a...

Parity unveiled a new Polkadot Reliability Dashboard during the Build-A-Party livestream, pitching it as the first Web3 status page that embraces radical transparency about operational issues. The dashboard shifts reliability measurement from block-time averages to user-focused metrics—percentiles for latency, transaction...

Aventus is pitching itself as practical Web3 infrastructure that integrates with existing systems to give businesses blockchain-grade speed, scale and trust without forcing them to manage crypto complexity. The company says its Polkadot-powered stack (via Pocodot) is already live in...

A developer who joined Polkadot in 2019 describes their builder journey: they first created a Vue implementation of Polkadot.js and then pivoted to NFT work, assembling an artist-focused ecosystem. They emphasize hands-on learning of Substrate and Rust internals to understand...

Bill Laboon, recently appointed VP of Ecosystem at the Web3 Foundation, says his broad remit covers community-facing functions including grants, developer support, staking, on‑chain governance, technical education and the support team. He emphasized the Foundation’s wider mission to build a...

The video explains how to unstake DOT from a Polkadot nomination pool using the network’s staking interface or compatible wallet. It walks viewers through selecting the nomination pool, initiating an unbond/withdraw action, confirming transaction details and fees, and noting the...
