Early Core Update Shows Gains, No Major Drops Yet
GSC in the API is now showing data up to May 25, which gives us a few days of core update info. Starting to see several sites with movement that looks related to the update. Here's something odd though - I don't see any sites with obvious catastrophic declines - yet. It's early to draw conclusions and sometimes the patterns don't emerge till a week or more has passed. The sites with increases so far are a mixture of: -YMYL information -forums -eCommerce -affiliate -travel It's also worth noting it was a holiday weekend in the US this week so this can impact traffic patterns as well. Will be fun to dig into this one once it finished rolling out and see exactly which pages took off or whether it's a mixture of improvements across the board.
