AI Copilot Translates TIA Portal Texts Instantly, Boosting Productivity
Translations in TIA Portal used to be a real time killer. 🤯 Exporting project texts, editing them in Excel, importing them again and then hoping everything was transferred correctly. I tested the new AI Assistant from Siemens Industry for TIA Portal, the Siemens Industrial Copilot, and used it to automatically translate project texts from German into English. The interesting part: The translation runs directly inside the project. Fully automatic. No export. No import. Especially for international machine projects, this can be a real productivity gain. Of course, technical terms and context still need to be checked, but the first translation pass is done extremely fast. For me, this is a good example of where AI creates real value in engineering.
