UMPG Australia and Pacific President Andrew Jenkins to Depart After Nearly Two Decades
Andrew Jenkins, president of Universal Music Publishing Group’s Australia and Asia‑Pacific region, will leave UMPG on July 1 after nearly 20 years. He joined BMG in 1993, rose to president, and stayed through Universal’s 2006 acquisition. Jenkins oversaw publishing across four continents and helped broker the SACEM and APRA multi‑territory digital licensing agreements that reshaped regional streaming royalties. A successor has not been named, marking a significant leadership transition for the company.
