ReElement Technologies Achieves Tungsten Separation and Purification Capability
ReElement Technologies, backed by American Resources Corp., demonstrated a chromatography‑based process that purified tungsten from a 28% concentrate to 99.9% purity, marking one of the few domestic capabilities in the United States. The achievement showcases the company’s modular, multi‑feedstock platform, which can also handle other critical minerals. While tungsten is not yet part of ReElement’s Phase 1 buildout, the test creates a clear path for future capacity expansion as market demand solidifies. The breakthrough addresses a strategic gap in U.S. defense and industrial supply chains.
