Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a Cassava Technologies unit, has wired 45 public schools in Umlazi and Pinetown, KwaZulu‑Natal with at least 10 Mbps internet and a 500 GB fair‑use cap. The rollout is part of a national effort to connect 298 public‑service institutions, now 65% complete with 194 sites online. Concurrently, the KZN provincial treasury unveiled a digital access programme to extend learning tools to rural districts beyond iLembe. Together, the initiatives aim to bridge South Africa’s school connectivity gap and equip learners for the digital economy.
