Lettuce & The Motet Members Form MTN Lion, Announce Debut Album
Lettuce drummer Adam Deitch and guitarist Adam Smirnoff teamed up with The Motet bassist Garrett Sayers and keyboardist Joey Porter to form the funk supergroup MT Lion. The quartet recorded a debut album titled *Stealth*, slated for release on July 24 via Golden Wolf Records, and premiered the single “Turning Up The Heat.” The project, born during pandemic lockdowns, emphasizes analog instrumentation and pure funk for the love of the music, with no AI or digital shortcuts. After five years in the vault, the band finally released the material to fans of both parent groups.
