Filippo Ciabatti Appointed Principal Guest Conductor of Boston Baroque
Filippo Ciabatti has been appointed to the newly created position of Principal Guest Conductor at Boston Baroque, a historic early‑music ensemble celebrating its 50th anniversary. He will collaborate with incoming Music Director Marc Minkowski, who follows long‑time leader Martin Pearlman. Ciabatti previously broke ground as Boston Baroque’s first Assistant Conductor and brings a résumé that includes guest appearances with dozens of U.S. symphonies. He also serves as Music Director of the Opera Company of Middlebury.
