South American Ski Destination Announces Planned Opening Day
Valle Nevado in Chile announced a planned opening on June 14, 2026, with operations running through October 4. The resort is investing $3.3 million in pre‑winter upgrades, including the Aconcagua Ski Residences, expanded snowmaking, lift modernization, and new grooming equipment. A new integrated ticket will let guests ski both Valle Nevado and neighboring La Parva, offering over 4,000 acres, 87 trails, and 30 lifts. Mountain Capital Partners’ acquisition of both resorts extends its Power Pass to South America, broadening its multi‑resort portfolio.
