
Anthropic Launches Claude for Small Business to Streamline SME Operations
Anthropic unveiled Claude for Small Business, an AI assistant that plugs directly into the SaaS tools SMEs already use. The toggle install links with QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 to automate tasks such as payroll forecasting, invoice reminders, contract reviews and marketing campaign drafts. The service is accessed through existing Claude subscription plans starting at $17 per month, and is paired with a free AI Fluency training program co‑run with PayPal. Anthropic aims to close the automation gap in the UK, where only about a third of SMEs have adopted AI and just 11% automate core operations.
