Quantum WIY Industries and Quantum Tencore Industries to Strengthen Air Defence and Ground Systems

The German‑Ukrainian “Build with Ukraine” programme, launched by Quantum Systems, is designed to transfer proven unmanned‑system expertise from the front lines into Western supply chains. After the rapid rollout of Quantum Frontline Industries, which began producing combat‑tested robotics for Ukraine, the initiative is now branching into additional domains. This expansion reflects a broader European push to localise critical defence technology and reduce reliance on distant manufacturers.

Quantum WIY Industries (QWI) will focus on interceptor drones, with a contract to deliver 15,000 Strila UAVs to the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces. Parallelly, Quantum Tencore Industries (QTI) will scale production of unmanned ground systems, leveraging Tencore’s battlefield experience and Quantum’s German engineering base. Together, the two ventures create a multi‑domain portfolio that integrates aerial and land platforms, offering Ukraine a more cohesive, autonomous defence network.

For the European defence sector, the joint ventures signal a shift toward collaborative, cross‑border manufacturing that can accelerate innovation cycles. By embedding Ukrainian operational know‑how within German factories, the model improves supply‑chain resilience and shortens delivery timelines for critical systems.
