About Commit to Connect

Commit to Connect is a federal-funded public health initiative coordinated by USAging to reduce social isolation and loneliness by connecting individuals with programs and resources that help them stay socially engaged. The effort involves a nationwide network of champions at local, state, and national levels who collaborate to share questions, resources, and best practices. It is funded primarily by the U.S. Administration for Community Living with additional support from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, aiming to increase awareness and availability of resources to build social connections across the United States. The initiative also provides consumer resources and professional materials on staying connected and addressing social isolation.
