Writing Success Comes From Consistent, Long‑Term Effort
A lot of people assume authors “make it” because of one breakout book. That’s not usually how it works. Most “overnight successes” are years deep in the writing trenches. Multiple releases. Series. Backlists… etc. Success in this space is rarely a single spark. It’s consistency that looks boring from the outside ( because we are hanging with imaginary friends all day that nobody can see but us…) and exhausting from the inside. (From Corralling those imaginary friends.) So keep writing.
