The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) released its 2026 Adventure Travel Trends & Insights report, based on a survey of 329 operators worldwide. While revenue still rose in 2025, growth slowed as firms shifted focus from volume to efficiency, margins and diversified, smaller‑group offerings. Sixty‑one percent of respondents expect higher net profits in 2026, though confidence dipped slightly, and more than half are pursuing sustainability certifications. The report also highlights that roughly 75% of trip spend stays in local economies, underscoring adventure travel’s economic impact.
