
Venice Biennale Gets Its Own Radio Station – RADIO GAMeC – PEDAGOGY OF HOPE
Radio GAMeC is launching “Pedagogy of Hope”, a collateral event of the Venice Biennale Arte 2026, broadcasting live from the historic Radio Vanessa in Venice from May 5‑10 and continuing online through November 22. Curated by Lorenzo Giusti and Lara Facco, the program draws on Paulo Freire’s critical pedagogy to explore decoloniality, disability aesthetics, digital mediation and the politics of representation. The initiative brings together artists, theorists and scientists, and each broadcast opens with a new sound work by Nyokabi Kariuki. All content will be archived in the Biennale’s digital collection, extending its reach beyond the exhibition.
