Arteris Litoral Sul has equipped Brazil’s BR‑101 corridor with Intelligent Security Systems’ SecurOS Auto Hazardous Cargo module, which uses license‑plate recognition and placard decoding to flag dangerous‑goods vehicles in real time. The solution also incorporates automatic incident detection that spots stopped cars, wrong‑way drivers, debris and congestion, even at high speeds or in adverse weather. Alerts are instantly sent to Arteris’ control centre, cutting the gap between an event and emergency response. The deployment aims to boost safety on a key logistics artery linking Itapema and Balneário Camboriú.
