James Cropper Unveils an Industrial-Scale Platform for Next-Gen Composites
James Cropper Advanced Materials introduced Vectis, an industrial‑scale aligned fibre platform that produces Unimat, a non‑impregnated nonwoven mat with up to 95% fibre alignment. The system leverages existing nonwoven equipment to deliver widths of 1,200 mm and areal weights from 20‑200 g/m², handling recycled carbon, virgin carbon, glass and hybrid fibres.
