Relativity, the Chicago‑based e‑discovery leader, has acquired Los Angeles‑based Gavel, a document‑automation and AI drafting firm. The deal enables Relativity’s AI suite to operate directly inside Microsoft Word, allowing work products created in RelativityOne to be edited, redlined and finalized in the word processor with real‑time sync.
