Universal Factory Robots Are Arriving, Soon Home Too
My new expectation. @Tesla_Optimus will be able to do any job in a factory. And it isn’t alone. I just visited another company that is doing just that. The world of robotics just had a major breakthrough and multiple companies are figuring it out. And if it can do any job in a factory it will do the same in our homes. @1x_tech will get there faster than anyone is realizing. $20,000 is cheap. One of the companies I just visited is putting this technology into all Chinese robots. Made in America. So will be accepted into our businesses.
AI's Learning Speed Will Eclipse Human Progress Soon
Here I have a cute argument with Grok about whether it is a world model. As a kid a neighbor and I built our own sailboat. Then raced it on the San Francisco Bay. In three years @Tesla_Optimus will build a faster...
Google's World Model Paradoxically Benefits Apple
Google is building a world model that knows everything too. This is a big win for Apple, even though it looks like a loss.
Tesla's AI Paves Way for Autonomous Humanoid Revolution
It won’t matter. Now that I see what Tesla and xAI is up to, building a world model, that knows EVERYTHING, I am 100% convinced that Tesla will be the world leader in humanoids. And will be all autonomous within three years. I...
Grok Instantly Knows Every X Video’s Content

Decentralized Computing Empowers Autonomous, Private, Low‑Cost AI
Why does AI need decentralized computing? I know most AI people aren't paying attention to what's going on in the blockchain-based world, but there's a lot happening there. And same for those in the blockchain-based world (crypto and Web 3). This...
Optimus May Replace All Factory Workers by 2030
Elon DMd me this morning and said the next @Tesla_Optimus (version 3) can “probably” roll a cigar. Rolling joints is harder. If I was @elonmusk I would put three cameras on every one of his 12,000 workers in @tesla’s Fremont factory. That would...
People Reject Autonomous Cars—Adoption Inevitable Within Three Years
I did a lot of consumer research more than a decade ago for the auto industry. It drew the most heavy rejection of my career. “If a car drove up without a steering wheel would you take a ride with me?” One guy...

AI Threatens Influencers: Only True Creativity Will Survive
AI is crowding out the humans everywhere except here on X. This has deep implications for all media. “Influencers” ability to influence is about to go away even here in X unless they have deep creativity and bring real value that AI’s...
Meta Lacks Leadership to Rival OpenAI in Consumer AI
Another new thesis. Meta won’t be able to compete with @OpenAI as it enters consumer electronics. The Meta/Raybans debacle and the way it treats the community and how it laid off 600 AI workers tells me it doesn’t have the leadership...

AI-Driven Knowledge Graph Could Reshape X’s Feed Algorithm
How might the new X algo work? Not the shitty one we have today that's based on a bunch of hard-coded rules, but a more flexible AI-centric one? @bendiken demonstrated the other night a new kind of neurosymbolic machine intelligence. That builds...
AI Video Creation Becomes Instant and Interactive
"Instant, interactive AI video." Boom!
True Tech Expertise Requires Hands‑on Tesla FSD Experience
Good morning. Totally agree with @YunTaTsai1 below where he says robotics researchers shouldn't call themselves experts if they haven't had direct experience with @Tesla's FSD 14. In fact I'd go further. You can't call yourself a technology expert if you...
