Aspen Airport (ASE) Closing For Most Of 2027, For Runway Redevelopment
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) will shut down from 11 p.m. on April 4 to 7 p.m. on November 19, 2027, to rebuild and widen its sole runway. The project shifts the runway westward and expands its width from 100 feet to 150 feet to meet updated FAA standards.
