Deutsche Offshore Schifffahrt is a Hamburg-based joint venture focused on developing and commercially operating specialized vessels for the offshore energy market. It is partnering with Schoeller Holdings and MOL to launch a fleet of Construction Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (C-CSOVs) designed for broad offshore tasks beyond traditional wind-turbine work, including cable repair, inspection, maintenance, and light construction. The ships feature a fully modular working deck, a 50-tonne crane with 3D motion compensation, ROV readiness, a 12.4-tonne helicopter deck, and an integrated offshore gangway system to access platforms up to 30 meters above water. With emphasis on energy efficiency and potential future electrification or methanol operation, the company positions itself as operator and commercial manager for these advanced offshore assets within the global energy market.
