Cygnus Cross has released a new trailer for the action‑adventure‑RPG Emberville, showcasing fresh gameplay footage and announcing the latest addition to the game’s voice cast.

Abubakar Salim, who previously voiced Bayek of Siwa in Assassin’s Creed Origins and portrayed Alyn of Hull in House of the Dragon, is the newest member of the cast.

“I look for projects that take risks, and Emberville is absolutely pushing the envelope,” said Salim in a press release. “Seeing how this team is deconstructing the genre is inspiring, and doing it with such intellect and intent is awesome.”

Previously confirmed as a core cast member, Alex Jordan will also serve as the game’s performance director.

“The thing that really makes any project stand out to me is the developers themselves, the people at the core of it all,” said Jordan. “You can have the best concept in the world, but if the team isn’t utterly devoted and approaching it with a level of detail and nuance, the result will always be mediocre.
